Lib Dem Shadow Home Secretary Visits SW Surrey

Nick Clegg MP, the Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary, visited South West Surrey on 2nd November to speak to local Waverley Borough Councillors, party members and supporters on crime and anti-social behaviour amongst other issues.
Nick gave a rousing speech and praised the newly appointed Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Sarah Di Caprio, saying he looked forward to welcoming her as an MP at the next General Election. "We don't need A Lists when we have genuinely talented candidates like Sarah in the party!"
Sarah co-hosted the evening at the Georgian Hotel in Haslemere alongside Gill Ferguson, Leader of Waverley Borough Council, with the many local Lib Dems in attendance all agreeing it was a most successful and enjoyable evening.
