Simon campaigning for new play equipment at Ockford Ridge

Surrey County Council is coming under pressure to meet its legal obligations to provide more youth facilities in Godalming.

Often the only things happening are thanks to the hard work (usually voluntary) of local people. "If Surrey always matched the hard work of local people we could provide much needed things for our young", says Simon Cordon. "There has been some progress in Ockford but we particularly lack things for our teenagers. Surrey is bound by law to provide facilities and they are failing us badly", he added.
