Shock report shows state of Surrey's roads

Surrey's roads are amongst the worst in the Country according to an official
report. This is despite the fact that Council Tax has been increased by 92% by the Conservatives running Surrey County Council over the past eight years. According to recent Government figures nearly 40% of Surrey's roads were in need of repair last year.
POT-HOLE MADNESS
The Conservatives have also introduced a policy that says pot-holes can only be immediately reported for repair if they are more than 4cm deep! Is more money being spent on measuring pot-holes than filling them in?
Councillor Hazel Watson, Leader of the Liberal Democrat opposition on Surrey County Council, said: "This is just one example of how the Conservative administration at County Hall is failing Surrey residents by not improving services where it is urgently needed".
