Simon Cordon is leading another annual survey for the local Liberal Democrat team - finding out what people want to see done in the community.
This year the survey is concentrating on the work of Surrey County Council, which takes 75% of everyone's Council Tax. Simon is concerned that Surrey, based at County Hall in Kingston, is ignoring the needs our area down in the south of the County.
Simon Cordon writes: "Thank you to everyone who supported me and the Liberal Democrats at the General Election earlier this year. It was disappointing not to win and represent you in Parliament but that's democratic politics and we must all move on".
"I remain as keen as ever to do my best for the local community in whatever role is helpful. There are too many issues at stake, such as Milford Hospital and our local buses".
"With the General Election over I hope everyone will put party politics to one side and put the needs of the community first. That's why I've agreed to lead another annual survey for the local LibDems. It's called: 'Fighting for the community'. That's what matters most".
