The daughter of former SW Surrey Tory MP, Godfrey Nicholson, is backing Simon Cordon to be the area's new MP. Baroness Emma Nicholson, a former Conservative MP herself and now a leading international human rights campaigner, warmly endorsed Simon Cordon. Describing Simon as someone who will be a "hardworking and committed local MP", she declared: "The One Nation Conservative Party I knew and worked for has long since vanished. The principles of tolerance and care for the rights of others are now honourably upheld and implemented by the Liberal Democrats."
