Simon Cordon speaks up for small business on Newsnight
Simon Cordon was chosen to represent the Liberal Democrats on Newsnight on Saturday 16th April at 5.30pm, on BBC2. The show debated which party is the best for business.
Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the boss of EasyJet, helped debate which party has the interests of business at heart. Simon was the only prospective candidate to put forward cogent and forceful arguments for supporting small businesses and demanding tax cuts, whilst skilfully defending the 'tax neutral' green policies that the LibDems promote, such as taxes on airline fuel which might hit Stelios hard!

However as a self employed person, he has spent most of his time over the last 7 years campaigning in SW Surrey, and has pledged that he will be a full time MP for us. From his showing on Newsnight, he will be an incredibly powerful voice for South West Surrey.
