Simon Cordon kicks off Kennedy's National Campaign Weblog

Simon and Charles listen to questions in the packed hall at Godalming College
Charles Kennedy chose to spend his first - and only morning so far given his expected baby - with Simon Cordon and the sixth formers at Godalming College.
Both Simon and Charles received a tremendous welcome from the students, with many volunteering to help with Simon's campaign. The students not only appreciated the in depth question and answer session with Charles and Simon, but also genuinely wanted to ask searching questions of Simon long after the cameras had left.
This was an excellent indication of what issues young people feel passionate about, with over 90% believing they could make a difference by voting Liberal Democrat.
