Continuing to pursue answers to the questions that have arisen on the new rail timetables, Simon Cordon met yesterday afternoon with Rufus Boyd, the Commercial Director of South West Trains.
Mr Boyd visited Farnham at Simon's request to discuss the changes, which will include increased travel times on journeys from Farnham to Waterloo. Mr Boyd was a key player in what the rail company describes as "the most radical timetable change on the South West Trains network since electrification in 1967".
Simon later commented on the meeting, saying he was pleased at getting an agreement from Mr Boyd that South West Trains would review the new timetable during course of the year.
