Simon and residents posed for a photo after the talk
Simon Cordon has described criminals who stole thousands of pounds of equipment from Bells Piece in Farnham as the "low of the low".
Simon made the comments during a visit to the Leonard Cheshire Home for disabled people on Monday June 7th.
Simon visited residents and other users of Bells Piece to chat about the European Elections and the work of politicians and MPs. "We also talked about the good and bad things in Farnham", said Simon. "Residents at Bells Piece like Farnham Park and the Town Centre, but like everyone else think there is too much traffic!"
During the visit Simon learnt of a burglary that had recently taken place. Thousands of pounds of gardening equipment and machinery had been stolen.
"It's clear that these criminals had targeted Bells Piece and knew what they were after. All thieves are despicable but to target this very special home is disgusting. These thieves are the low of the low. I'd back the police to do whatever is necessary to bring them to justice and would hope to see the courts punish them sufficiently for the sheer callousness of this crime", he said.
