Farnham Students Quiz Cordon On International Affairs

Simon Cordon with Farnham College StudentsSimon Cordon, South West Surrey Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman, visited Farnham College on Monday (8th December) to talk with some of the politics students.

As well as discussing the unfairness of university top-up fees, the students and Mr Cordon had a frank exchange about the current international situation.

Mr Cordon said:

"The students were very interested in talking about the state of international politics, especially the circumstances surrounding the war with Iraq and its consequences. We spoke in length about the role of America in the world and how the problems in the Middle East could be resolved."
