Simon Cordon checks out the latest batch of surveys returned to his office.
People across South West Surrey have responded positively to an Inquiry into our local NHS. The Inquiry is being led by Liberal Democrat Simon Cordon following a request from Charles Kennedy, the Leader of the Liberal Democrats.
A four page survey form has been delivered to homes right across the South West Surrey constituency.
Simon Cordon commented:
"The Liberal Democrats are determined to get more resources for our local NHS. We have been leading campaigns to keep our community hospitals at Farnham, Haslemere and Milford, and thousands of people have signed our petition to get a fair funding deal for Surrey NHS. This survey will provide real 'on-the-ground' information about the state of our local NHS, which I shall then share with West Surrey Health Authority and our local Community Health Councils, so that action can be taken".
Simon Cordon was chosen to lead the Inquiry because of his strong campaigning in support of the NHS in South West Surrey.
